Bio – Cami Medlock

Playing experience:

I started playing volleyball when I was eleven years old and continue playing to this day. I graduated from Emerald Ridge High School in 2007 with three varsity letters in volleyball (two letters in basketball, three in tennis) and academic honors. After high school I went on to play at Pierce College, graduating in 2009 with honors. For the past several years I have played in adult leagues and tournaments in the Puget Sound area.

Coaching experience:

I have coached club for four years, starting with Above the Net and later with South Hill Volleyball Club.  Since 2010, I have been a part the coaching staff at Nevillizms Volleyball Coaching where I had the opportunity to work with athletes of all ages and abilities. From 2014-2016 I assisted the volleyball program at Eatonville High School. Currently I am an assistant coach at Pierce College after previously coaching with the Raider programs in 2012 and 2014.

Why I coach:

I believe sports offer an important avenue for teaching life skills and building character. Volleyball is a dynamic team sport that allows me the opportunity to pass on my knowledge of the game and challenge my athletes. My goal is to help make them stronger players and more resilient individuals off the court.
