Ann Hansen (Head Coach)

I began playing volleyball in sixth grade for my school’s team and played through high school for both the school and club teams. I continued to play when I went to college on the University of Washington’s club team. After college, I began to coach and have been coaching club teams in the area for the past three years. This year, I took on a new responsibility at the school where I teach, as the Bonney Lake High School C-team coach.

To me, you learn more in volleyball than just how to pass, set, or hit a ball. You learn about dedication, commitment, team work, communication, hard work, overcoming obstacles, and many more lessons that are outside of the basic skills in volleyball. My goal is to develop players who play with passion and intensity, while also learning these important lessons that they can apply off the court.
